Temcare staff members work with our partner networks and supportive local churches to provide families of prisoners with practical help.
HOPE: Prisoner family support:
Practical help for struggling young families with toddlers aged 1 to 3, seeking to assist parents in this most fulfilling of human endeavours, raising a family.
- Monthly morning tea in Ringwood North.
- Gift baskets – nappies, clothing, food, toys.
- Family food bags (for the whole family).
- Annual Temcare Family Camp
NURTURE: Young family support:
Temcare’s Children’s Respite Care program includes:
Short-term regular respite care. This provides a much-needed break for families while offering children a loving, safe and caring environment.
Families can also attend our annual Family Camp.
RESPITE CARE: Short breaks for parents and children can make all the difference.
For over two decades Temcare has run its annual Family Camp. This provides an opportunity for the families in Temcare’s programs to have a free holiday, develop old and make new friends.
Separate to our own annual camp, Temcare also provide free school holiday camps at campsites in Victoria for approved youth from its various programs, especially from its HOPE program.
