Respite care provides a much-needed break for families while offering children a loving, safe and caring environment. It is available for children, aged between 0-15 years, usually for 1-2 days every 6 weeks. Temcare connects families-in-need with Christian carers. Our policy is that everything is done to help families thrive and remain united, therefore multiple siblings requiring respite care with Temcare will usually be kept together.

Temcare is a Christian charity and provides its services free of charge. Donations are appreciated.

All Temcare respite carers are comprehensively assessed and accredited. They are required to obtain a current ‘Working with Children Check’ and to submit to  regular ‘National Criminal History Checks’.
